PRESIDENT’S PERSPECTIVE - "What are you going to do when we're all in there?"

As ACGIM approaches 100 chiefs in the fold, we know we can't rest on our laurels. Ben Littenberg of Vermont asked, "What are you going to do when we're all in there?" Here's the answer!

Chiefing is tough stuff, and a well-burnished exterior is seemingly one part of the job. But the challenges are real, and the demands are sometimes endless. ACGIM has formed a community of like-minded individuals to help each other face mutual challenges. To this end, ACGIM is dedicated to providing forums for support, exchange of ideas, information- sharing, and fostering development among GIM chiefs. For details of ACGIM’s strategic plan to achieve these goals, and the status of negotiations for an ACGIM role in the Alliance for Academic Internal Medicine, click here
